As a rule, we process users’ personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services, including the handling of donations.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by webgo GmbH, Heidenkampsweg 81, 20097 Hamburg, Germany. When you visit the site, server log files are stored automatically (browser type, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of the request, IP address) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. 4. Donations via PayPal
We offer payment of donations via PayPal. The provider is PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”). If you donate via PayPal, the payment data you enter is transmitted to PayPal.
On the donation page, the graphics next to the donation button (card symbols and PayPal logo) are loaded directly from PayPal’s servers. As a result, your IP address is transmitted to PayPal as soon as the donation page is opened – even if you do not click the button. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning presentation of the payment option). Clicking the button opens PayPal’s payment page in a new browser tab; from that point on, PayPal’s privacy policy applies.
Payment data is transmitted on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient payment processing). Further information on data protection at PayPal: paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.
To issue a donation receipt (Zuwendungsbestätigung) we additionally process your name and address, provided you give them to us for this purpose. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (tax-law retention obligations) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
5. Fonts
This website uses the typeface Jost (SIL Open Font License). The font files are delivered from our own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or any other third party.
